Natural Gas Services:
Gas Rates:
$10.00 meter fee/month plus $1.50/unit ($15.00/mcf)
$20.00 meter fee/ month for large meters
*Rate may increase if the cost of gas with transport per mcf is above $15.00 for the month.

First 1,000 gals = $20.00
Over 1,000 gals = $6.50 per 1,000 gallons
The minimum charge per month is $20.00
Drinking Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report)
Each year we make available a short report that tells where your water comes from and what is in it. See below for the most recent report available, or call our office and we will gladly assist you.
Sewer Services:
Established sewer service charges for the use of and for the service supplied by the municipal sanitary sewer system based upon the amount and rate of water consumed as follows:
SEWER RATES:
First 3,000 gals. = $49.00
Over 3,000 gals. = $27 per 1,000 gallons
The minimum charge per month is $49.00
Meter Reading:
All meters will be read between the 18th and 21st of each month.
The City of Winfield has an animal policy for our meter readers who read city water and gas meters. All animals must allow all utility reader free access to all utility meters. There must be at least four (4) feet distance from the centerline of contact to the reader. Also, all meters shall be located so that they are easily accessible to meter readers and repairmen and protected from freezing.
The meter reader should be able to access your meters easily and safely. If you would kindly clean up around your meters it would be greatly appreciated.
